With a word of never spoken, and with promises unbroken,
As the dreams of futures passed among the trees,
Craving light from place of dark, the mad one called upon the spark,
And the powers of the dust, the dew, the breeze.
Seeking solace from his pain, the mad one hoped to gain,
An awakening born from wiin the spell he cast.
Thus igniting with a start, the strong engines of his heart,
Allowing him to seek true love to end his fast.
Oercoming his dire plight, the mad one met, one moonlit night,
Dulcinea, whom he called his lady fair.
Dulcinea, with acuity, armed with mystic ambiguity,
Wove a song of light into the glamrous air.
Dulcinea had a smile, shining bright, with no guile,
And an innocence within her changing eyes.
Crowned with sultry chestnut hair, speaking with a saucy air,
Filled with secrets that burst forth with great surprise.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come sit with me,
For my lap is warm, and weve no place to go.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come lay with me,
In a lifetime built together we shall grow.
Though he found her quite delightful, he still found he was quite frightful,
For his heart inside still languished in its sleep.
But she had the poer inside her, though it also did divide her,
That could save him from the darkness hidden deep.
Boasting boldly of his madness, thus revealing his sadness,
He whispered into Dulcineas ear.
Feeling washed inside his love, which came from the heens above
She began to love him back with hope and fear.
Dulcinea was a catch, a great woman, with no match,
As her soul shone brighter than the very moon.
So itd take a special man for her to ever give her hand,
No matter how he made her feel or made her swoon.
So she wove a spell of glamour, that was made, to form her armor
To protect her from the mad ones sweet amor.
This she girdled round her hips, as a smile quirked her lips,
As she sallied forth to treat with him once more.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come sit with me,
For my lap is warm, and weve no place to go.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come lay with me,
In a lifetime built together we shall grow.
As he waited for her grace, and a smile blessed his face,
The mad one dreamt of dreams of dreams of dreams to be.
Then he fished out from the air, a subtle dream, so wondrous fair
He knew that Dulicneas heart would melt to see.
From the moon, he asked a beam, which he opened at the seam,
To add a gentle ray of sun to warm its heart.
Then, with a dash of rain, the beam he forged into a chain,
And cast a spell so that its links would never part.
Then with momentary grace, and great care upon his face,
The mad one took the dream he liked with tender care.
He put the dream in a jeweled shell, which he thought would hold it well.
And hung it from the chain to gift his lady fair.
The mad one with his treasure, did await his true loves pleasure,
On a mystic beach he found beside the sea.
With the rising of the moon, hed see his Dulcinea soon,
So he chortled and he chuckled in his glee.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come sit with me,
For my lap is warm, and weve no place to go.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come lay with me,
In a lifetime built together we shall grow.
Dulcinea, with no fear, before the mad one did appear.
Though she felt the silver snakes tongue of his charm,
Her armor was in place, so she studied then his face,
For she felt no visage could ever do her harm.
With a voice quivering of sadness, and tingling with his madness,
The mad one did his love for her declare.
She looked into his eyes, where she found, under disguise,
A simple magic beauty hidden there.
She fell sway under this power, but she had no cause to cower,
For Dulcinea kept her wits about her well.
The mad one banked up the fire, speaking softly his desire,
Causing cracks to form in Dulcineas spell.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come sit with me,
For my lap is warm, and weve no place to go.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come lay with me,
In a lifetime built together we shall grow.
Dulcinea was not disheartened, and she kindly asked his pardon,
For she wished to change the subject he had found
Then with clever misdirection, the mad one, without detection,
Seized the manner to retun to common ground.
Reaching deep inside his pocket, he pulled out that precious locket,
Which the mad one made to show the love he felt.
With this, the mad one gifted Dulcinea, whose spell was lifted,
As her opened heart did in his loving melt.
So a home they built together, that withstood all sorts of weather,
On that very beach that they had found their love.
If youve not already guessed, their sweet unity was blessed,
By the angels watching down from up above.
So, with runes of never written, and the dark within unhidden,
As the waves of futures bright crested the sea,
With light inside his soul, and sweet love to make him whole.
Dulcinea surrendered to the mad ones plea
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come sit with me,
For my lap is warm, and weve no place to go.
Dulcinea, Dulcinea, wont you please come lay with me,
In a lifetime built together we shall grow.
