The Skies of Winter Blue

Vernal rains will wash away the blood of midnight tears.
Sun of summer, burning bright shall chase the evening fears.
Crimson red, the autumn leaves wind dance a dance so true.
Yet nothing can compare to eyes the skies of winter blue.

When the earth has turned her back and age sets in the ground,
The golden star must recognize the independence found.
A thousand fiery Furies fly, in search of sinners true.
To bring them to the frozen lands--to skies of winter blue.

Fireflies take up their dance throughout the glam'rous night.
And bluebirds raise a chirping hymn unto the day's pure light.
Diogenesian maidens seek out a man so true
To warm them 'gainst the chilling frost of skies of winter blue.

So bring the chorus to an end, and pay the piper well.
For flaxen hair and marble skin can end a lifelong Hell.
And if there's time for one last dance, then make that last one true;
To keep the heart that's held so dear, in skies of winter blue.
