Adeptness of Ineptitude

Adeptness of ineptitude's the order of the day.
A cavalcade of idiots have all began to play.
Look at all those morons, capering on the grass.
And there! the tall buffoon--he's just fallen on his ass!
A mass of ignoramuses are dancing in the street
No fear of passing cars which may mutilate their feet.
And then there's all the dummies, singing in the rain.
If lightning were to strike, they'd never sing again.
Oh no! is that my landlady? Oh no! is that my boss?!
How could the world of sanity suffer such a loss?
Does Chaos reign supreme? Has madness struck the Earth?
Is this some strange affliction that's followed them from birth?
Yet before you speak too harshly of the people that we see,
Look again, you'll find the biggest fools. They're you and me.
